Game developer NetEnt is stealing Unibets chief executive

Published by Thisbe Savva, 6 October 2016

Unibets chief executive of five years Therese Hillman, is leaving the company to join the game developer NetEnt as the companies new chief financial officer. She has had a brilliant career so far, and will probably continue that same good path in NetEnt. She will start her position in NetEnt in January 2017 where she will be substituting Maria Hedgrenn. Another game developer that also got new finance chief recently is Yggdrasil, and funnily enough their new finance chief was hunted from NetEnt.

A sign that the business is growing

This is all good news because it means the iGaming business is growing, and a growing which in turn means more fun for us players. The growth will lead to more countries that will have to take a look at their gaming regulations, and that will eventually bring more stability to the market.

In the meantime, make sure that you play on our recommended casinos, like the ones you will find on our best uk online casinos. As we mentioned a couple of days ago, Unibet is one of my go-to casinos, so if you don’t have an account already, you really should just head off and get yourself one.
