Casino providers excelled this year bagging the awards they wanted at ICE 2019!

The ICE 2019 conference is coming to a close, but this has been quite the event, along with the Global Gaming Awards of 2019! So many of our wonderful casino operators, casino providers and of course casino game providers were invited to this black tie, champagne flowing event, but not all of them went home with the award they wanted! Many did however, and we are going to share with you some of the top awards that have been given out at ICE, and the GGA as of yet because we are absolutely beaming with pride for all of our top casino providers!

Yggdrasil Gaming are the first. With their massive amounts of hard work and dedication the past year they managed to bag themselves the Innovator of the Year award for the third year in a row! Yggdrasil Gaming are just becoming bigger, better, and they truly seem to be taking over the casino world. A big hand of applause for them as they most definitely deserve to take this award home. Last year Yggdrasil introduced their first ever branded slot game, Nitro Circus, which was one of the best slot games that they had ever released, you can check out our review of this game by clicking on the link! Other than their branded release, 2018 was a steady and innovative year for them!

The CEO of Yggdrasil Gaming Fredrik Elmqvist said a few words about their award at ICE:

Another leading casino supplier Evolution showcased their ‘evolution’ in 2018 so it seems as they managed to bag the Online Casino Supplier of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards for 2019! Although this was not an ICE award, we still feel the need to share since Evolution have really stepped up their game in the past year, and in our eyes any reward is a good reward! Evolution was at the top of their game for this years awards ceremony as they beat nine other shortlisted casino companies in the running to win this very prestigious and long awaited international award.

The CEO of Evolution’s Group, Martin Carlesund said a few words after having collected their award: “We are thrilled to have won this award. The past twelve months have seen some landmark product launches from Evolution, with the runaway success of Lightning Roulette, the launch of our First Person range of games, plus three new studios opening worldwide. To win this award on the eve of ICE, where we will unveil 10 new games, is very exciting for us as a company. We are continually pushing to enrich our offering and provide our operators and their players the next generation of Live Casino games.”

Play’n Go were also amongst some of the award winners this year, and this does not come as a surprise since they have put in a lot of hard work and pure dedication back in 2018. Hard work does not go unnoticed as they say! Play’n Go were nominated for a variety of awards, Slot Provider of the Year, Mobile Product of the Year, and the Great Place to Work Award. They walked away with the Slot Provider of the Year! This was a opitimal moment for Play’n Go as they were amongst some very heavy competition in this specific category however they came out with flying colours and a bright and shiny reward!

Johan Tornqvist, the CEO of Play’n Go said a few words about the win of the company stating: “It’s an amazing feeling to have come away with this award! Everyone at Play’n GO works together to maintain and advance upon the quality and consistency we bring to all of our products. It is this teamwork and togetherness that allows us to thrive as a company and earns us awards like this.”
