This leading software supplier, Microgaming are taking to ICE to showcase their commitment to reducing the amount of waste there is. On their ICE stand they will be providing extensive recycling facilities which will minimize the amount of plastic used at its bar, and supply ways to reuse these plastics for the following shows in the future. As many of us know, thousands and thousands of people attend ICE each year, that is thousands and thousands of plastic waste and waste that could have been recycled but a lot of it gets missed in the madness of the days. In the year 2019 it should almost be an automatic regine where people constantly recycle and try to make this world a better place however we are not there just yet.

During the three day ICE event, Microgaming has made a pledge to recycle its stand graphics, along with disposing of other materials at the end of the event. At the bar there will be 100% compostable cups and mugs, along with reusable and recyclable aluminium water cans. Microgaming has not forgotten about those who enjoy a bevvie or two at ICE, because they will be serving recyclable glass bottles, plastic-free coffee cups, and also wine goblets which have the ability to biodegrade within 12 weeks under commercial compost conditions!

Microgaming is a very ‘green’ company as is, considering their state of the art and eco-friendly brand new Isle of Man headquarters which was opened in 2017. This building was one of the island’s first offices to have received and achieved an Excellent Sustainability Rating from BREEAM. BREEAM is the world’s foremost environmental assessment method and rating system for buildings, so this was a very big thing for them, and something that they were aiming for with this fantastic eco-building. Being ‘green’ is definitely the new trend for 2019, we need to save and help this planet as much as possible, so put that green foot down and take note from Microgaming!
