The stats are in for Yggdrasil and their Q1 2018 report is looking grand!

Yggdrasil Gaming have recently just released their Q1 report for 2018 and it’s full speed ahead for this gaming company. The Q1 report represents the first quarter report for the year, so it goes Q1, Q2, and Q3 for the last quarter. These reports are very important for gaming companies, and companies in general to have a good look at how the company is doing and if their growth is what is expected.

The main purpose is to report earnings, losses, and percentage progressions to see where they may have been going wrong, what they can improve on in the next quarter, and what they are excelling at.

For Yggdrasil, their growth spurt has been absolutely fantastic for the first quarter!

Brilliant results for Yggdrasil

Yggdrasil has already come out with so many exciting new games this year including the likes of those crazy looking Mexican wrestlers Lucha Maniacs which players have really enjoyed, and of course the brilliant Easter Island slot game, so there’s no question about it really in how much Yggdrasil has soared for this first quarter. If we take it back to the first quarter last year in 2017, there was a very impressive increase of 134% year on year to MSEK 33.3, along with the number of player transaction or (rounds) being increased by 121% year on year to 701 million.

In 2017 Yggdrasil’s mobile gaming was also 52.3% of total gross game win. If we come back to present day, their 2018 Q1 report was definitely not as high as last years with their revenue having an increase of 73% with 57.6 MSEK. Compared to the 134% increase of last year’s Q1 report this could be considered a slump, but Yggdrasil Gaming have explained that the decrease was due to investments they had made in this years ICE convention along with other expenses which are connected to ongoing expansions.

New deals and huge increase in player engagement

This years first quarter report showed that the player involvement has ascended in a fantastic way, and the total number of player transactions (rounds) standing at 1,333 million, so this gives them a very impressive percentage of year on year increase at 90.2%! We all love what we are seeing from Yggdrasil this year in terms of casino games online and their new partnerships and expansions.

Yggdrasil recently just signed nine new licensing deals this year, along with two brand new partnerships. There is so much going on for them and we can’t wait to see where 2018 takes them because so far, so good.

The CEO has the word

Fredrik Elmqvist, the CEO and founder of Yggdrasil explained that they have got some very exciting innovation projects and upcoming table games products being launched this year and he feels very confident that they will revolutionise the vertical when it launches later in 2018. He also noted that the product is based on a new, proprietary technological framework called REDUX which combines the best aspects of live and RNG casino which will allow players to fully immerse themselves into a 3D environment!
