Thursday throwback NetEnt slots, and upcoming casino games for the summertime!

With us being well into the year 2018 now, it feels only right to have a little bit of a Thursday Throwback, and take a look at what we have gotten so far in regards to slot games from one of our most loved providers, NetEnt. They have really been on a roll this year, dishing out games like there’s no tomorrow, and not just any old game, these are some top casino games which have been fabricated and designed by one of the best casino games providers in the world.

This post will be dedicated to having a good look at what we have been really enjoying from NetEnt thus far, and what we can look forward to in the hot Summer months because they have got some golden games coming our way including another Fairytale Legends slot!

NetEnt starts 2018 with a bang

So far in 2018 we have been fortunate enough to be able to enjoy 8 new slot games, all with very different themes, and all with many amazing in-game features. Let’s throw it back and take a look at what slot games we have been dished out so far. In January 2018 it was the release of Twin Spin Deluxe, the classic with a twist style slot game, along with Universal Monsters: The Phantoms Curse also being released in January. In February Fruit Spin came out, the colourful and vibrant classic feeling slot with some really decent features including stacked symbols.

NetEnt also released Asgardian Stones in February. In March 2018 they went singular and only released 1 slot game which was Hotline. We really enjoyed this game as it was something very different, and matches very well to this Thursday Throwback as it has that 70’s-80’s vibe and super cool music. As we get to April 2018, NetEnt released one slot game which was Archangels: Salvation, but they also upgraded 3 of their well-known slot games to HTML5. Arabian Nights, Reel Steal, and King of Slots were upgraded and ready to spin.

Lastly, thus far in 2018, NetEnt released the Lost Relics slot game, and did more HTML5 updates on some versions of their Roulette games. It has been quite the year so far and we are not even at the end of it. There are still some very exciting casino games for us to look forward to by NetEnt, especially in the Summer months, so we will go through them one by one!

Upcoming slot games

Swipe and Roll is set to be released in August, with the theme being that of a 50’s - 60’s looking diner. It makes you want to get up and dance with the nostalgic and groovy music. Swipe and Roll is a very classic looking slot game but NetEnt made sure to include some excellent features including Scatters and even a Bonus game. Next on the August list is the juicy Berry Burst slot game, this is a colourful and very Candy Crush esque game and looks to be a lot of fun to play. Even though it’s a classic 5 reel layout, there is something very different about this game and we can’t wait to give it a go.

This next slot on the NetEnt August roadmap could possibly be the most exciting one, it is an addition to the Fairytale Legends episodes. If you remember the previous games such as Fairytale Legends: Hansel and Gretel, and Fairytale Legends: Red Riding Hood, then you are on the right track. This August we can look forward to playing Mirror Mirror where you will be able to see who the fairest of them all is!

More exiting slot games on the horizon

Another bit of very exciting news is that Narcos and Vikings will also be made into NetEnt slot games, but that will be later in 2018 as announced at the ICE conference. This year will be incredible, there is so much to look forward to from NetEnt, despite the fact that they have recently changed CEO and had a lot of things going on, they have not put their games in the back burner that’s for sure. It will be a superb summer filled with lots of playing, and lots of new features to look into. We don’t even have that long to wait considering we are almost in June!
