Review of MultiFruit 81

Play’N Go has gone with a retro classic type theme in this video slot. They feature the much loved and known symbols such as watermelons, strawberries, cherries, BAR symbols and of course a funny looking Joker. This slot definitely feels like it has just come out of a Vegas casino, especially with the flashing logo at the top of the grid, and the bright green background.

The sound effects throughout are also very catchy and resemble a traditional fruity machine, I think that for a classic style game as this, Play’N Go has done very well with producing this slot. There are not exactly a ton of features however, so I can only assume this is on purpose due to the fact they wanted to make it a classic slot game. The features that it does have are pretty exciting since they have Wild Multipliers, and Expanding Wilds, but perhaps there could have been a little more added.

How To Play

Before you start spinning on Multifruit 81, you should adjust your bet by using the buttons on the bottom of the screen and select your preference. The minimum betting limit is £0.10, and the maximum is £100 so choose wisely so the joker doesn’t start laughing at you! This video slot features 4 reels instead of the normal 5, and has 81 paylines that are fixed. You will notice when you start spinning that one of the reels will light up, this happens on every spin due to the Expanding Wild feature that will be explained further below.

Wild Multipliers

The Wild multiplier on Multifruit 81 is the happy joker face. This symbol will substitute for all symbols. If you happen to win 2 Joker Wilds on a winning payline, it will multiply your win by x2. If you manage to get 3 Joker Wilds on a winning payline it will multiply your win by x5.

Expanding Wilds

During the main game, one reel is randomly selected and is highlighted for each spin. You will notice this as soon as you start playing. If you have any Wilds on the highlighted reel, they will expand and replace the other symbols on the reel.

Conclusion

There are no special features in this video slot besides the features mentioned above, however I think that it would have been a bit more exciting if they had a pick and click feature or perhaps a bonus game. I understand the reason why they may not have gone for tons of features though, I think it was to keep within the classic style and theme. Other than the lack of bonus features, it is worth having a few spins on.
