Joker Gems is what could only be described as a mix of sci-fi/futuristic slot game with its stardust background and space age style music.

It can seem a little confusing in the beginning however as the layout isn’t the norm. The light chaser feature is only able to trigger at the beginning of a spin during ‘normal mode’. What happens is that a Light Chaser will randomly appear between spins creating a cluster of 4 to 5 identical symbols and this will result in a win when it stops.

If you do end up triggering a cluster created by the Light Chaser then this will be automatically applicable for entering the Bonus Mode Re-spins, meaning the Light Chaser will award you with at least one Re-spin.

There are no paylines in Joker Gems and this is why they have featured Cluster Pays. In order to get a cluster pay you will need to spin and win with 3 or more identical symbols adjacent to each other and this will end up forming a winning cluster. If you formed a cluster in normal mode then it will become sticky in the game and award you with a Re-spin. These Re-spins will keep on going for as long as there is an expansion to an existing cluster or so long as there are new clusters being formed on your reels.

The most exciting in-game element has got to be the Jackpots. Joker Gems features 3 different jackpots which can be triggered when there are identical symbols filling the jackpot pattern positions. On the very right of your game screen you will be able to see the value of each jackpot and the way in which you can trigger them is by getting certain positions.

A center 3x3 reel position will give you the Bronze jackpot, surrounding 16 positions will give you the Silver jackpot, and lastly if you are lucky enough to get the whole grid filled with identical symbols you will end up triggering the Gold jackpot!

Elk Studios likes to add betting strategies into their slots quite a lot, it gives players the chance to spin without worrying about when to up their bet or when to lower their bet. 2. Leveller where it will raise the bet 2 levels after 5 consecutive losses and will reset automatically after a win
3. Booster, this strategy will raise the bet 1 level after a loss until it has reached 3 levels above the base bet and will reset after a win
4. Jumper, this strategy will raise the bet level by 1 after every winning round until it has reached 4 levels above the base bet and will automatically reset after a loss
